Making long-distance passenger information tangible for the simulator community

A self-hostable web platform that recreates the crew operator screen and passenger information of a high-speed train. Built for myself and the train-sim community to make simulator sessions more realistic.
01
Problem
Simulators model driving in great detail, but barely the on-board information system. Yet that is where much of real-world interaction happens: announcements, connections, platform dispatch.
02
Solution
- Train runs from GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) feeds, text import or custom JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) files
- Series-specific interfaces, including a classic LCD (liquid crystal display) look
- Passenger view with platform view: destination display, dispatch sequence and departure order in the correct order
- Coupled multi-unit trains per series
- A natural, consistent announcement voice; connection announcements bundled
03
Operations
Deployed via GitHub and Vercel. The community will be able to exchange their own timetable files and load them locally into a session.
